Between drafts, edits and approvals, finalizing a press release often involves collaboration from a team of individuals. But when that workflow is locked behind a single platform login, teams have to spend extra time coordinating those steps externally, which doesn’t scale for agencies servicing many client accounts at once or in-house teams iterating quickly. EZ Newswire’s workspaces bring that coordination into the product itself, giving each team member their own login and access, scoped to their respective organizations.

Every existing EZ Newswire account has been converted into a workspace, and existing users have automatically been made the admin of their own workspace. From there, admins can invite teammates by email; each invitee receives a link to join the workspace or complete a short signup if they are new to the EZ Newswire platform.

EZ Newswire workspaces support two roles: admins and contributors. Both can draft, check out and publish press releases, create new organizations and track analytics through reporting dashboards and performance reports. The difference is that admins manage the workspace details, including member invitations, organization access, billing and general account settings for every organization in the workspace, whereas contributors are only able to see and manage the settings of the organizations they have access to. Each organization has its own Members tab, so anyone with access can see who else is working in it.

Billing for a workspace is centralized. Invoice receipts for every organization are managed by admins from a single Billing tab and are filterable by invoice number, release headline or organization.
